Pamela Sessions Bio

Currently serving as CEO for Renewal House for the past two years, Pamela Sessions brings key skills to the 22 year old agency. Uniquely qualified to lead Renewal House to increase services to women and children, Sessions has provided leadership on start-ups, staff expansions and increasing operational revenue.

Sessions, a 30 year veteran in the nonprofit industry, understands the needs of Middle Tennessee and is positioned to make a large impact in our communities changing the trajectory for thousands affected by the opioid epidemic. Sessions past experiences in serving our most vulnerable women and children provides her with a keen perspective on how to change the lives of Renewal House’s clients providing specialized addiction treatment for women and their children. Her strong leadership skills gained Pamela recognition as she received a former Top 40 Under 40 award, One of 50 Woman Who Make a Difference and an Alumnus of Leadership Memphis. Pamela currently serves on the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Policy and Planning Council and the newly formed Mayor’s Behavior Health and Wellness Planning Council. Sessions has a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She enjoys reading, traveling and crafts.

Renewal House is the only organization of its kind in Middle Tennessee providing a place where a woman can live on campus with her children and participate in recovery treatment. The nonprofit provides recovery support, therapy, life-skills, career development and parenting skills. Women and their children live on Renewal House’s Campus for an average of 6 to 8 months. Renewal House saves lives and repairs families.
