Jessica Averbuch, CEO of Zeitlin Sotheby’s International Realty

Jessica Averbuch is CEO of Zeitlin Sotheby’s International Realty, the 13th largest woman-owned business in Nashville. As CEO since 2016, she led Zeitlin & Company Realtors’ affiliation with Sotheby’s International Realty in 2018, creating her current firm and now leading its strategic vision and carrying forward the core values and legacy of the firm. Before the merger, Jessica had served as a partner in Zeitlin & Company since 2007. In 2017, the business achieved $15.9 million in revenues (Nashville Business Journal). She earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington University and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Lillian Blackshear-Peay, Lawyer, Bass Berry & Sims

Lillian Blackshear is a partner in the Nashville office of the law firm of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC. Since 2010, she has represented clients in public finance transactions totaling more than $10 billion. Exclusively focused on public finance, she has represented governments and banks in an array of high-profile projects throughout the state of Tennessee. She is chair of the African-American Affinity Group at Bass, Berry & Sims, is a founding board member and secretary of the Tennessee Chapter of Women in Public Finance and has served as a commissioner on the Metropolitan Planning Commission since 2014. In 2018, Lillian was named one of Nashville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. She is a summa cum laude graduate of both Spelman College and the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Lisa Campbell, Director of External Affairs for Mars Petcare

Lisa Campbell joined Mars Petcare in 2006 and currently serves as the Director of External Affairs, with strategic oversight of corporate and brand communications that promote and protect the company’s purpose, reputation and profitability. Previously, she spent more than eight years in marketing and brand management at Mars where she led multiple businesses. Before joining Mars, Lisa served as an industrial engineer with General Motors and Nissan. She started her brand marketing career with Procter & Gamble on the Olay skincare brand. Lisa earned her MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Business at Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee. She is a board member of the Pedigree Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors for Williamson Inc., which is comprised of Williamson County’s office of economic development and chamber of commerce.

Dr. English Flack, Assistant Professor, Pediatric Cardiology, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital

Dr. English Flack is a pediatric cardiologist at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She also serves as the medical director for Project ADAM Middle Tennessee, which aims to make automated external defibrillators available in public and private schools. She is certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology with the American Board of Pediatrics. English earned her medical degree and a masters of science from Medical University of South Carolina, and served her residency and a cardiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Flack was a 2018 Nashville Business Journal Women of Influence Award Winner in the Public Policy Category.

Loretta Stokes, Senior Software Engineering Manager at EVENTBRITE

Loretta Stokes is a technology leader with 18 years of software engineering experience and management experience. She graduated from Austin Peay State University with a major in Computer Science and is currently the Senior Software Engineering Manager for Eventbrite in the Nashville location. Loretta was named one of Nashville Business Journal’s 2018 Women of Influence and Nashville Technology Council’s 2019 Emerging Leader of the Year. These awards recognize individuals who are shaping their companies, improving our communities and paving the way for the next generation of influential leaders. Loretta is changing the landscape for women in tech through mentoring, coaching and speaking at conferences.

Connie Vaughan, Government Relations Manager of McKee Foods

Connie Vaughan joined McKee Foods in 1987 and has held various positions in engineering, human resources, and operations. In 2007, Connie was selected as Government Relations Manager to coordinate policies and objectives involving local, state, and federal government affairs. Connie currently chairs the Thrive Regional Partnership – a 16-county regional partnership focused on responsible growth while protecting natural resources; the Tennessee Trucking Association, and the Independent Bakers Association, a Washington, DC based trade association, representing the food industry. Connie was recently voted chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Trucking Association, a first in the organization’s existence.
