AAUW’s board of directors is kicking off this giving season with its largest match in the organization’s 138-year history. From now until December 31, the board will match — dollar for dollar — every donation received up to $68,800.

“I’m proud to share that we had 100% participation from the board in setting the match,” says AAUW CEO Kim Churches. “The board understands how important it is to fight for our future and ensure that the important progress we’ve made isn’t reversed as we head into a critical election year.”

The match means that your $100 gift becomes $200, $200 becomes $400, and so on. Members’ support will enable AAUW to:

• Win more legislative victories for fair pay.
• Equip every working woman with savvy negotiating skills.
• Preserve Title IX’s critical protections against harassment and inequality in education.
• Encourage more women to become leaders.

“We have a tough road ahead but that’s never stopped us before,” says Churches. “Our members always rise to the occasion.”
