Local bars and restaurants should be comfortable, fun and safe. Customers should have a “top shelf” experience in an atmosphere of safety with knowledgeable and trained staff which equals safe, happy and satisfied customers.

Bystander Intervention is an effective prevention strategy that staff can use to decrease sexual assault.

The Sexual Assault Center is hosting a bar owner roundtable on April 4, 2017, 2-3pm at Bar Louie, 314 11th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203 to discuss the role bars can play in intervening and prevention of sexual assaults and how we can partner to increase awareness and provide bystander training.
