Feminism in Literature

Synopsis for our Feminism in Literature discussion next Tuesday with Rory Dicker.

This talk will explore the varying feminist perspectives presented in several works of American fiction. Focusing on novels frequently used in Women’s and Gender Studies courses. We will talk about how books such as The Awakening, The Color Purple, and The House on Mango Street highlight different feminist issues and approaches.

    • ROOM: 319 (Take elevator in main lobby up to third floor. Turn left out of elevator. Room 319 is down the hall to the right. Signs will be posted.)

NOTE: There is an event at the church the same evening as Rory’s talk! The parking lot will be more full than usual, but otherwise we should not have any issues.
